mid-century pool home

Modern Nest reinvigorated this tired Mid-Century Home at the top of Mulholland Drive. Our goal was to infuse warmth into this modern gem and not make it feel cold and imposing. There is nothing cold about this space. The neutral color palette with pops of blue really blend into the landscape creating a feeling of comfort and ease. Outdoor furniture has come a long way. This sectional is great looking and very comfortable. I created the custom artwork with carved limestone tiles and then framed them in teak. The curtains are great to shield the sun as it rises above the house.
